Enter the Russians
Let’s talk about Hillary’s “reset” with the Russians. In the waning years of the Bush administration tensions started to rise with the Russians. Putin and Bush had no use for the other and the new Obama team thought they could get things back on track with a “reset”. This was Hillary’s brainchild. Hillary offered the Kremlin a chance to clean the slate and begin anew. At the heart of the reset was a bunch of economic and business deals involving oil and gas. What Hillary didn’t know was it was all a front so Putin could get his hands on more uranium.
The Russians had an ambitious plan for nuclear reactors but really wanted to corral a bigger share of the world uranium market. The dirty secret here was many of the deals the reset gave birth to returned huge profits to the investors who in turn donated many millions to the Clinton Foundation and funded the huge fees Billy Boy was getting for his laconic speeches. Many of the deals required State department approval which was a rubber “Hillary” stamp.
The Russian regulatory agency for all things nuclear is Rosatom. It is controlled entirely by the state and is considered very classified by the Russians. In 2009 the US was warned that the Russians were making moves to gather up more stores of Uranium and potentially take over territory that could supply it. (Recall the invasion of the Ukraine). Also in 2009 Rosatom bought a 17% stake in Uranium One. At the same time, Uranium One, a Canadian Company) was buying a huge stake of the American uranium market. By 2010, Uranium One had 61 nuclear projects going on 293,000 acres of US soil. This, plus other US holdings, projected Uranium One to control up to 50% of the American Uranium market by 2015.
The Russians sat back and just drooled over the opportunity to get involved here. But a slight hiccup occurred. In the Bush administration there was an agreement called the 123 Agreement. Basically it said there had to be specific nuclear agreements in place before doing any nuclear business with a foreign country. It was on the table with Russia but when they started rattling their sabres in Georgia, it was withdrawn. The net of this was no nuclear deals could be made without a new 123 Agreement.
Enter the Reset! The agreement was back on and guess who was in charge? HILLARY! Part of the reset was the US-Russian Civilian Nuclear Cooperation Agreement which opened the door for Putin’s gang at Rosatom to buy a 51% stake in Uranium One. The story starts to get a bit convoluted here as many execs at Uranium One became filthy rich and many millions more poured into the Clinton Foundation from the profits they made.
The Russians had to overcome one more obstacle before they could take over Uranium One. Since it held strategic US assets, it required the approval of the Federal government and guess who that was. Right again, HILLARY! But, there was concern expressed by the Canadians and several US congressmen who felt the Russians could not be trusted in a commercial endeavor.
Putin went into major damage control in convincing everyone they could comply as did the management team of Uranium One. Letters were written by congress and many voices objected but eventually the deal was approved by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS)

The Clinton Foundation….More

Folks, I can’t make this stuff up. Read on.

The Democratic party likes to portray itself as the people’s party. They go to extreme lengths to portray themselves as welcoming all types. Diversity is their middle name. Their basic goals are to provide equal opportunity (and other people’s cash) to all levels of society no matter what the genre. It matters not what racial minority or life style you may have chosen, you are welcome. Just bring your voter’s registration card with you.
But a curious event has occurred in checking recent donations to the Clinton Foundation. Apparently a small church in Africa has donated a huge sum and such sum has been welcomed by the Clintons. Normally this would go un-noticed but this particular church has an anti-gay philosophy.
Additionally it seems that a Swedish branch of the Clinton Foundation collected some $26 million while trying to influence Hillary Clinton (while SECSTATE) from supporting sanctions against certain major Swedish companies doing business with Iran.
The piece below clarifies the above somewhat and was contributed by Michael Goodwin of the New York Post.
“Two new reports from the Clinton Chronicles demand attention. One involves an anti-gay church in an impoverished African country that gave up to $10 million to the Clinton Foundation.
The London Daily Mail reports that the Cameroon Baptist Convention believes that being gay “contradicts God’s purpose” and likens homosexuality to the Devil.
The church only has about 100,000 members, so where did it get so much money? And why is it shipping millions to the Clintons when Cameroon is one of the poorest countries on Earth, with child labor a scourge and only one doctor for every 5,000 people? Life expectancy is reported as 55.
Moreover, Cameroon is extremely corrupt, with human-rights organizations claiming that criminal suspects, gays and political activists are routinely tortured.
The second scandal involves a Clinton spinoff in Sweden that collected $26 million in donations while Sweden was trying to persuade Hillary Clinton’s State Department not to sanction major national firms doing business with Iran. The Washington Times broke the story and says the spinoff was never disclosed to federal ethics officials, “even though one of its largest sources of donations was a Swedish government-sanctioned lottery.”
Two results: No Swedish firms were sanctioned, and one of them, telecommunications giant Ericsson AB, paid Bill Clinton $750,000 for a speech. The Times reports that Ericsson was trying to sell tracking technology to Iran that could be used by the mullah’s security services.
Something is rotten in Clinton World. Actually, everything is rotten in Clinton World.”
How many smoking guns does the American public need before they call for the heads of the Clintons? As stated above, the Clinton world is truly rotten and the stink can no longer be contained.

America…Don’t You Give A Damn?

This piece will be a slight digression from “Clinton Cash”. I felt compelled to write this as I was somewhat disgusted by the latest polls on Hillary Clinton. It is a fact she is cratering in public opinion but for some unknown reason, the American public who are being polled, don’t care about the now exposed dealings of the Clinton Foundation, her role in it, Bill’s role as the cash cow and all the assorted and nefarious characters that they (the Clintons) have surrounded themselves.
One might argue that the polls were rigged since they were conducted by CBS news and the NY Times, both bastions of liberal and Clinton mania. But, there is no way to determine if this is a plausible theory since most polls are anonymous.
Let us assume that the polls are honest and were taken from a cross section of America. That, dear readers, gives me classic heartburn. What moron can say in one moment that she is not viewed favorably and in the next not care about the scandalous Clinton Foundation? Have all Americans become so jaded that they find nothing wrong with crooked politicians? Is it an accepted fact of life? I would say yes. Why, let’s look at the numbers.
Forty nine percent of all tax filing Americans pay no taxes. Forty seven million Americans are on food stamps. The number of Americans on disability insurance has doubled during the Obama administration. Those that will tell the truth say they make more money on the Federal teat, than they could working. This breeds sloth. And those dole recipients don’t want it to change. Yes, Americans don’t give a damn as long as the Fed is feeding them.
They listen to the lies and falsehoods that pour from Hillary’s mouth and could care less. All they know is she will continue to feed them.
This weekend was a classic example. Hillary tried to tell all America that the GOP was thinking up methods to prevent them from voting. Nothing could be farther from the truth and it shows how out of touch she is with reality. In the state of Ohio alone (which has a GOP governor) they have 27 days of early voting to insure everyone gets a chance to vote. The polls are even open on WEEKENDS. The state that Hillary calls home has NOT A SINGLE DAY OF EARLY VOTING! How hypocritical can you get?
Hillary calls for diversity and what did she hold last week? A speech open to women only. Unfortunately hardly anyone showed up.
I am calling for all Americans who care about the fate of the nation get involved and defeat this witch. Find out where your local GOP HQ is, volunteer, help any way you can as the consequences of doing nothing are dire indeed. We must bring this federal dollar giveaway to a screeching halt. Sure, some may get hurt, but that is better than seeing our entire economy and nation go the way of France and Greece.

The Uranium Deal Part 2

This business deal is about as complex and corrupt as they come so let’s continue.
All deals for mineral assets from Kazakhstan had to have the approval of the president, Nazarbayev but this would not be a problem for Giustra and his shell company. The reason, Giustra and Clinton were tight (some say joined at the hip) and Clinton’s relationship with Nazarbayev went back to 1994. The skids were greased and it was full steam ahead. The major Uranium players would be ignored only they didn’t know they were playing against a stacked deck.
Both Clinton and Giustra vehemently denied that they used their influence with the Kazakh government. In fact Clinton even said that the president did not have to approve the deal which was totally false. Did he lie or was he just ignorant? You be the judge. This was proven to be false when execs for the fledging uranium company affirmed that the Kazakh government had to approve the deal, which of course they did.
Thus Giustra and his shell company UrAsia acquired the mining rights to the uranium fields and quickly brokered a merger with a legitimate mining company, Uranium One, and transferred all the assets to it. But this proved to be more difficult that they thought. The Kazakh government had to approve all transfer of mineral assets and this approval was not forthcoming.
Enter Hillary Clinton! A 2009 video on an unrelated matter has a Kazakh official saying Hillary pressured Kazakh to approve the deal. Hillary was a senator from NY at the time. Both Hillary and Bill threatened that American aid to Kazakh would be with held unless the deal was approved. At the time Hillary sat on the Senate Armed Services Committee.
To sweeten the deal, Bill nominated Nazarbayev to head up the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Making him head of OSCE was like putting Iran in charge of the Atomic Energy Commission. But Bill made it happen.
Shortly there after the assets were transferred and a few months later Giustra made a $31.1 million donation to the Clinton Foundation. This was the first of many donations he would make after securing other lucrative mineral rights deal.
After the dust settled and the aforemention company UrAsia went public making all the key players filthy rich, UrAsia merged with Uranium One with UrAsia left in control. Giustra and his cronies then began acquiring uranium assets in the United States since they were a Canadian company and such deals were common.
Enter the Russians. The bought a stake in UrAsia and I will describe this in the next part.

Clinton Cash- The Uranium Deal -1

Let me say right up front that this is the Clintons at their best. It is the most complex scheme that I have ever tried to comprehend and I admire Peter Schweizer for his tenacity and perseverance in unraveling this tale of intrigue and blatant dishonesty. You may recall a few years ago I uncovered the scheme launched by Sen.Teddy Kennedy in his thwarted attempt to wrest the nomination from Jimmy Carter. That pales in comparison to this.
Let me first say that beneath all this is a US Statute that makes it illegal for any foreign national or entity to contribute funding for any American election. This law has been upheld by the Supreme Court. Keep this in mind.
So the question arises is the Clinton Foundation merely a slush fund for foreign campaign donations as well as the huge speaking fees Bill receives? You can come to your own conclusions.
When Bill left office and they together allegedly dead broke, set up the foundation, Bill’s speaking fees ballooned. Then after Hillary became the senator from the NY, the donations poured into the Foundation coffers, mostly foreign but some domestic and all tied to political favors. The unanswered question was obvious, why donate to a third party (The Foundation) when you could donate directly to the relief agencies?? When Hillary was appointed to SECSTATE, many members of congress on both sides of the aisle questioned this choice. Among them, Richard Luger and John Kerry, both Dems. Before Obama formally put her forward, an MOU was put in place. The MOU required the Foundation to submit all of Bill’s speeches to the State Dept. ethics office for review. NOTE: who would be running state? Plus, the publication of the names of any major donors and its initiatives. Finally the Clintons would seek pre-approval on direct contributions from foreign governments or foreign entities. There was argument both pro and con on both sides but the Teflon Kids won out on a 94-2 vote.
It was a sham and violated almost immediately. Bill would fly around the world making speeches and frequently be accompanied by those who would be directly affected by the foundations largesse. After the trips the millions would roll into the Foundation and the Bank Clinton and favors would be granted thru Hillary and her staff.
Enter Kazakhstan
This country contains a sizeable amount of the world’s uranium supply. In 2005 Bill was there to activate the HIV/AIDS programs. But, according to WHO, this country had only 1500 patients who needed treatment. Bill held public and private meetings with President Nazarbayev, a notorious despot and dictator who had no regard for human rights. Bill met with him on the eve of the national election to give him more respectability.
On this same trip was Canadian Millionaire Frank Giustra. They travelled in Giustra’s private jetliner. In fact Bill frequently used this aircraft whenever he needed it. Such was their relationship. Giustra had done mining deals with autocrats prior and he knew the value of the brand “Clinton”. Together, they formed a company called CGSGI (Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative) to foster growth in economically growing areas but all had considerable natural resources.
Giustra also owned a new mining company called UrAsia Energy. A bit player on the world stage that wanted in on the Kazazk uranium resources. But so did all the major world players and he stood little chance. But those companies didn’t have the Clintons.

Hillary On The Brink Of Collapse

A passage from Ernest  Hemingway fits the moment. In “The Sun Also  Rises,” one character asks,  “How did you go bankrupt?” and another responds: “Two ways. Gradually, then suddenly.”
The exchange captures Hillary Clinton’s red alert. She’s been going politically bankrupt for a long time, and now faces the prospect of sudden collapse.
If she’s got a winning defense, she’d better be quick about it. The ghosts of scandals past are gaining on her and time is not on her side.
The compelling claims that she and Bill Clinton sold favors while she was secretary of state for tens of millions of dollars for themselves and their foundation don’t need to meet the legal standard for bribery. She’s on political trial in a country where Clinton Fatigue alone could be a fatal verdict.
After 25 years of corner-cutting and dishonest behavior, accumulation is her enemy. Each day threatens to deliver the straw that breaks the camel’s back. It may already have happened and we’re just waiting for public opinion to catch up to the facts.
Meanwhile, her Houdini skills are being tested big time.
Hillary’s one big advantage is obvious — she’s the only serious contender for the Democratic nomination, and she beats most GOP opponents in head-to-head matchups. But everything else weighs against her, including momentum.
Start with the fact that the sizzling reports of corrupt deals are coming from major news organizations that reliably tilt left. With supposed friends making the case against her, the tired Clinton defense that the ¬attacks are partisan hit jobs has been demolished.
And after digging up so much dirt, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Politico, Reuters, Bloomberg News and others are not likely to be content with stonewalling and half-truths, especially given her recent lies about missing emails. No wonder the Times editorial page called on her to provide “straightforward answers” to the accusations.
I don’t see how she can meet that test. The outlines of cozy relationships and key transactions are not in dispute. The only issue is whether the millions the Clintons got amount to a quid pro quo.
On the face of it, that’s certainly what they look like. There are several deals we know of, and more could emerge, that put money in the Clintons’ pockets while helping businesses, including some loathsome international figures, make a killing. It is preposterous to argue that it’s all a coincidence.
Her position was further undercut when the family foundation announced it would refile five years of tax returns. In one three-year period, it omitted tens of millions in foreign contributions, reporting “zero” to the IRS. In another two-year period, it admitted to over¬ reporting government grants by more than $100 million.
A foundation aide described the errors as “typographical,” which is bizarre — and par for the Clinton course. To concede the errors during the firestorm must mean keeping them quiet was an even greater liability. As of this writing, they will be filing amended returns back to the year 2001.
Sooner rather than later, Hillary will have to meet the press — but what can she possibly say to alter the story lines?
If history is a guide, she’ll insist she did nothing wrong, offer ambiguous answers to specific questions, take offense at persistent reporters and end by playing the victim. She’ll follow up with a fundraising pitch for money to keep “fighting for ¬everyday Americans.”
To imagine that scenario is to realize it won’t fly, but I’m not sure what other options she has. She can’t tell the truth. It will sink her.
Nor can she credibly demand to be trusted, given her past. A recent Quinnipiac poll finds 54 percent of Americans already say Clinton is not honest or trustworthy.
Swing-state surveys show similar lopsided findings and each new sordid revelation will deepen the trust deficit. At this point in her life, it would take a near-miracle to change people’s basic view of her.
Her best hope is that a missing ¬ingredient remains missing — a Democrat who could take the nomination from her, the way Barack Obama did in 2008. None of those already in the race or committed to it — Martin O’Malley, Bernie Sanders, even Joe Biden — comes close to measuring up.
The only possible rival who does is Elizabeth Warren, the fire-breathing senator from Massachusetts. Gender aside, she is everything Hillary isn’t — an anti-Wall Street conviction populist with a record to match her rhetoric.
A movement to draft her started before Hillary hit the fan, so Warren would begin with a built-in constituency. So far, though, she insists she’s not running.
Then again, that also could change suddenly.

Hillary Secretly Accepts Koch Bros. Funding

Hillary Hates The Koch Brothers’ $$$ — Except When It Goes Into Her Own Bank Account!

According to the financial statement filed by then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton gave a speech in San Antonio, Texas for $150,000 on May 19, 2010. Federal regulations require a disclosure of the “source” of honoraria paid to spouses.

Hillary listed the “source” of the money as Craig Michaels, Inc., an event planner. Apparently to her, the source means the entity that sent the check, not the entity that sponsored and paid for it. But here’s the thing: in Bill’s filing with the ethics watchdogs at the State Department, he indicated that one of the two sub-sponsors of the speech was Georgia Pacific Co.

But Hillary doesn’t want you to know that.

Because guess who owns that company? Koch Industries, owned by the Koch brothers.

Both Bill and Hillary have deplored the political influence and money spent by David and Charles Koch to elect Republicans.

But they don’t mind cashing the Koch checks and depositing them into their own joint bank account.

Ironically, just yesterday, Clinton campaign national press secretary Brian Fallon circulated a talking-points memo to Clinton allies with suggestions about how to attack the Peter Schweizer book Clinton Cash, which has started a tsunami of bad press for Hillary. (Forgive the understatement).

Fallon proposed that Clintonites blame the book on the Koch brothers: Spread the word, he said that: “The book was backed by a Koch Brothers-linked organization.”

Perhaps the 30-something Clinton mouthpiece doesn’t remember that the Koch brothers contributed $3,500 to Hillary’s Senate campaign coffers. She didn’t return that money.

Hillary and Bill have no problem taking speech money from the Koch Brothers — they just want to make sure that Hillary’s opponents don’t do the same.

And they want to make sure the fees to them stay top secret.

The Smoking Gun……………….???

The Clinton saga is starting to read like a cheap novel. The only problem is that it is true. While SecState she concocted deals that enriched her husband (as well as she) and basically sold America to the Russians. It’s going to take a while for me to read “Clinton Cash” and try to form an unbiased opinion (wouldn’t that be mice if the left wing media did that?) but I will do my level best. What is interesting is that liberal journalists like Kristen Powers had taken some pointed shots at Obama and his administration.
But that is not my purpose. Obama is a two faced socialistic muslim and there is not much we can do about but you can read between the lines. The real foe we face is HILLARY AND BILL CLINTON!
Just ask yourself, how does someone who claims to have left the white house “dead broke” when she had an eight MILLION dollar advance on a book she had not written? Plus why does her dead beat ex-president husband command $500.000 for a 45 minute speech that he knows nothing about? Simple. The funding is coming from the deep left and right out of the pockets of George Soros. Remember him? He is the currency and market manipulator that almost brought the Bank of Britain down. He escaped to the United States and now spreads his filth and vile in our country. Get an eyeful of this socialist by googling him.
Estimates of the current Clinton wealth range up to half a billion dollars and that does not include the hundreds of millions that are hidden in Clinton Foundation or whatever they call it today. They have placed their daughter Chelsea in charge of it so they can keep an arm’s length away from daily operations. Now isn’t that special.

Another Liar For The Whitehouse?

If you happen to see the Bill Clinton five minute TV ad for Hillary in which he introduces the commercial by saying …
he wants to share some things we may not know about Hillary’s background .
beware as I was there for most of their presidency and know them better than just about anyone, I offer a few corrections;

Bill says: “In law school Hillary worked on legal services for the poor.”
The facts are: Hillary’s main extra-curricular activity in law school was helping the Black Panthers, on trial in Connecticut for torturing and killing a federal agent.
She went to court every day as part of a law student monitoring committee trying to spot civil rights violations and develop grounds for appeal.

Bill says: “Hillary spent a year after graduation working on a children’s rights project for poor kids.”
The facts are: Hillary interned with Bob Truehaft, the head of the California Communist Party. She met Bob when he represented the Panthers and traveled all the way to San Francisco to take an internship with him.

Bill says: “Hillary could have written her own job ticket, but she turned down all the lucrative job offers.”
The facts are: She flunked the DC bar exam, yes, flunked, it is a matter of record, and only passed the Arkansas bar.

She had no job offers in Arkansas, none, and only got hired by the University of Arkansas Law School at Fayetteville because Bill was already teaching there. She did not join the prestigious Rose Law Firm until Bill became Arkansas Attorney General and was made a partner only after he was elected Arkansas Governor.

Bill says: “President Carter appointed Hillary to the Legal Services Board of Directors and she became its chairman.”
The facts are: The appointment was in exchange for Bill’s support for Carter in his 1980 primary against Ted Kennedy. Hillary then became chairman in a coup in which she won a majority away from Carter’s choice to be chairman.

Bill says: “She served on the board of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.”
The facts are:  Yes she did. But her main board activity, not mentioned by Bill, was to sit on the Wal-Mart board of directors, for a substantial fee. She was silent about their labor and health care practices.

Bill says: “Hillary didn’t succeed at getting health care for all Americans in 1994 but she kept working at it and helped to create the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) that provides five million children with health insurance.”
The facts are:  Hillary had nothing to do with creating CHIP.
It was included in the budget deal between Clinton and Republican Majority Leader Senator Trent Lott. I know; I helped to negotiate the deal. The money came half from the budget deal and half from the Attorney Generals’ tobacco settlement. Hillary had nothing to do with either source of funds.

Bill says: “Hillary was the face of America all over the world.”
The facts are: Her visits were part of a program to get her out of town so that Bill would not appear weak by feeding stories that Hillary was running the White House. Her visits abroad were entirely touristic and symbolic and there was no substantive diplomacy on any of them.

Bill says: “Hillary was an excellent Senator who kept fighting for children’s and women’s issues.”
The facts are: Other than totally meaningless legislation like changing the names on courthouses and post offices, she has passed only four substantive pieces of legislation. One set up a national park in Puerto Rico . A second provided respite care for family members helping their relatives through Alzheimer’s or other conditions. And two were routine bills to aid 911 victims and responders which were sponsored by the entire NY delegation. Presently she is trying to have the US memorialize the Woodstock fiasco of 40 years ago. Here is what bothers me more than anything else about Hillary Clinton. She has done everything possible to weaken the President and our country (that’s you and me!) when it comes to the war on terror.
1. She wants to close GITMO and move the combatants to the USA where they would have access to our legal system. 
2. She wants to eliminate the monitoring of suspected Al Qaeda phone calls to/from the USA . 
3. She wants to grant constitutional rights to enemy combatants captured on the battlefield.
4. She wants to eliminate the monitoring of money transfers between suspected Al Qaeda cells and supporters in the USA .
5. She wants to eliminate the type of interrogation tactics used by the military & CIA where coercion might be used when questioning known terrorists even though such tactics might save American lives.
One cannot think of a single bill Hillary has introduced or a single comment she has made that would tend to strengthen our country in the War on Terror.
But, one can think of a lot of comments she has made that weaken our country and makes it a more dangerous situation for all of us.
Bottom line:
She goes hand in hand with the ACLU on far too many issues where common sense is abandoned.

Brief Guide to Clinton Scandals

Hillary Clinton is entering the presidential race in a cloud of scandal surrounding foreign contributions to the Clinton family foundation and her use of a private email account and server to conduct official business while secretary of state. But she and her husband are no strangers to scandal.
There often seemed to be no end of the scandals during President Bill Clinton’s two terms in the White House and Hillary Clinton’s campaigns for the Senate starting in 2000 and the Oval Office in 2008. Political experts began diagnosing “Clinton Fatigue” long ago.
As NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd said shortly after the email scandal broke, “if Clinton fatigue, which is already a disease in the press corps, actually becomes a problem with the voting public, and these polls, maybe this is the first time that it’s becoming a problem, that’s — that is doom for her.”
Hillary Clinton may become America’s first woman in the Oval Office despite the heavy baggage of her last name, but the scandals will surely play a dominant role in the 2016 presidential race.
To help readers keep track of them all, herewith is a list of significant Clinton scandals over the years. It is by no means a comprehensive list. The Washington Examiner will update this list as needed in the months ahead.

 

Travelgate
Soon after her husband became president in 1993, first lady Hillary Clinton allegedly engineered the firing of seven employees of the White House travel office and the hiring of a firm with ties to the Clintons to replace them. Multiple investigations absolved the president of involvement but Hillary Clinton was found to have made false statements to investigators.
Hillarycare secrecy
When first lady Hillary Clinton convened her task force to create her husband’s national healthcare program, it included multiple representatives from government, the health and insurance industries and academics. Despite the obvious potential for conflicts of interest in closed deliberations, the task force’s meetings were kept secret throughout its existence.
Whitewater
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Bill and Hillary Clinton were associates of Jim and Susan McDougal in the Whitewater Development Corp., an Arkansas real estate investment firm that went under when McDougal’s Madison Guaranty Savings & Loan was closed by federal regulators for illegal accounting. Taxpayers lost $73 million due to Guaranty. The Clintons lost an estimated $67,000 on their investment, but McDougal helped pay off Bill Clinton’s campaign debts, and Hillary Clinton’s law firm received an unknown sum in fees for representing a Guaranty project that also failed.
Filegate
Hundreds of FBI background files on officials in previous Republican presidential administrations were improperly given in 1993 and 1994 to Craig Livingstone, the director of White House security who was a Hillary Clinton favorite. No illegal activity was ever proven, and Livingstone ultimately resigned.
Removing files from Vince Foster’s office
Vince Foster was President Clinton’s deputy White House counsel and long-time friend of Hillary Clinton. He committed suicide in 1993, and his body was found in a park just across the Potomac River from the White House. Files were also allegedly removed from his White House office before investigators were able to secure it as part of the official probe into his death.
Lost Rose Law Firm billing records
Congressional and Justice Department investigators began issuing subpoenas in 1994 for Hillary Clinton’s billing records as a partner in the Rose law firm at the center of the Whitewater scandal. She said her role was incidental, but when the records mysteriously turned up in the White House in 1996, they showed she met repeatedly with key figures in the scandal.
Commerce Department’s “pay to play” junkets
Seats on Commerce Department international trade missions were sold to corporate figures in return for big contributions to President Clinton’s 1996 re-election campaign. Commerce Secretary Ron Brown, who was reported to have opposed the scheme, died when one of the missions crashed in Croatia, leading independent counsel Daniel Pearson to leave his investigation unfinished.
Renting Lincoln Bedroom
More than 800 people stayed overnight in the Lincoln bedroom of the White House during President Bill Clinton’s tenure. At least $5.4 million in campaign contributions from many of those guests went into Clinton’s re-election effort. Among the paying guests were movie producer Steven Spielberg, Dreamworks SKG head David Geffen and long-time Hollywood powerhouse Lew Wasserman.
John Huang
A close associate of Indonesian industrialist James Riady, Huang initially was appointed deputy secretary of commerce in 1993. By 1995, however, he moved to the Democratic National Committee where he generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in illegal contributions from foreign sources. Huang later pleaded guilty to one felony count of campaign finance violations.
Charlie Trie

Like John Huang, Trie raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in illegal contributions from foreign sources to Democratic campaign entities. He was a regular White House visitor and arranged meetings of foreign operators with Clinton, including one who was a Chinese arms dealer. His $450,000 contribution to Clinton’s legal defense fund was returned after it was found to have been largely funded by Asian interests. Trie was convicted of violating campaign finance laws in 1998.
Johnny Chung
Gave more than $366,000 to the Democratic National Committee prior to the 1996 campaign, but it was returned after officials learned it came from illegal foreign sources. Chung later told a special Senate committee investigating 1996 Clinton campaign fund-raising that $35,000 of his contributions came from individuals in Chinese intelligence. Chung pleaded guilty to bank fraud, tax evasion and campaign finance violations.
No controlling legal authority
Then-Vice President Al Gore repeated the phrase “there is no controlling legal authority” at least seven times during a news conference called to explain his multiple telephone calls from the White House to solicit contributions to the Clinton-Gore re-election campaign in 1996. In fact, the law was and remains clear that partisan campaign contributions cannot be solicited on or using federal property.

Monica Lewinsky and impeachment
President Clinton became only the second chief executive ever impeached by the House of Representatives in 1998 after being found guilty of obstructing justice and committing perjury in connection with a grand jury investigation of his sexual relationship in the White House with intern Monica Lewinsky. He remained in office, however, after the Senate failed to convict him. When the news of the Lewinsky scandal broke, Hillary famously blamed a “vast right-wing conspiracy that has been conspiring against my husband since the day he announced for president.”
Pardongate
Shortly before leaving the Oval Office, Bill Clinton issued a number of controversial pardons for controversial individuals represented by lawyers with ties to the administration. The most controversial was convicted tax evader Marc Rich who was pardoned after his former wife made big contributions to the Clinton presidential library and to Hillary Clinton’s 2000 Senate campaign.

 

The Bosnia airport sniper lie
During her unsuccessful 2008 campaign for the Democratic presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton claimed to have come under sniper fire during her arrival as first lady at an airport in Bosnia in 1996. She recanted her claim after CBS News broadcast video of the arrival that demonstrated there was no sniper fire.
The email scandal

While serving as secretary of state from 2009 to 2013, Hillary Clinton used a private email account and a server located at her residence in Chappaqua, N.Y., to conduct official government business. In a March 10, 2015, news conference at the United Nations, she said she did this as a matter of personal “convenience” and that she deleted thousands of emails she considered personal. Federal laws and regulations require government employees to preserve personal emails that deal with official business.
The Clinton Foundation
After leaving the White House in 2001, Bill Clinton established a foundation in his name to raise funds for his presidential library. In the years since, the foundation — now known as the “Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation” — has raised hundreds of millions of dollars for worthy causes, with much of it coming from foreign governments, corporations and individuals. Critics claim the foundation is a tool for special interests to cultivate favorable relationships with the former and possible future president.
